Role description

Role: Front-End Team Lead (React / React Native) Type: Permanent direct hire Location: Sofia, Bulgaria (fully on-site job) Start: ASAP (can consider 1 to 1.5-month notice period) Interview steps: 2 stages About: Take ownership of a 15–18 personale of frontend engineering team delivering high-traffic Gaming products. This is a leadership-focused role combining functional expertise, people management, technical direction and code review, with hands-on development when the team needs additional technical support. The role comes with big responsibilities and shoes to fill in. Key responsibilities: * Lead, mentor and develop front-end engineering teams * Coordinate delivery across casino, sports and other product areas * Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards * Support engineers with complex technical challenges * Step into hands-on development when required * Help ensure reliable delivery across 24/7 critical services * Collaborate with senior management and other technical stakeholders Requirements: * 8+ years of front-end / software development experience (MUST) * 2–3+ years of proven Team Lead / Management experience (MUST) * Strong React & React Native expertise (MUST) * Previous iGaming/Gaming/Betting experience is essential (MUST) * Specific experience with casino and sports betting platforms is required * Strong technical leadership and communication skills * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment
